Great recipe for sore throats and chest colds

WINTER SORE THROAT "TEA"

Make sure you have some of this ready... great recipe for sore throats and chest colds

Makes about 2 cups
2 lemons thoroughly cleaned and sliced
2 piece of ginger about inch thick sliced into thin pieces
Honey (about 1 cup-maybe more)

In a 12-16 oz. jar combine lemon slices and sliced ginger. Pour honey (organic is best) over it slowly. This may take a little time to let the honey sink down and around the lemon and ginger slices. Make sure when the honey has filled in all the voids, there is enough to cover the top of the lemon slices. Close jar and put it in the fridge, it will form into a "jelly". To serve: Spoon 1 tsp. of the jelly into mug and pour boiling water over it.
Can be Stored in fridge 2-3 months.

Lisa shares her journey-

Way to Go Lisa!

Lisa shares her journey--First off I need to let you know I was very skeptical of trying Skinny Fiber as I have tried a few "other " products before and just ended up wasting my hard earned money!. I have Juvinile rheumatoid arthritis. I was diagnosed with this at 18 months of age! I was just a baby so I grew up not being able to participate in a lot of different sports. I had all four of my kids fairly close together and tahts when my weight just kept pilling on, Due to my lack of mobility and my weight gain my arthritis was at its worst. The Dr. Had put me on naproxen to help ease the pain and I hated taking it, as I heard it can cause issues with the liver so I only ever took it if it was really bad.. I believe that being overweight has also caused my anxiety to go way up. I always had small anxiety issues in my childhood but nothing I needed to be medicated for. Anyway, since having my 4 babies I would get full blown panic attacks. Nothing was causing them, but would get me to the point where I could not leave my house.. Now, with having the anxiety it also brought on IBS, which was just awful.. I was at my worst . I found Skinny Fiber through a friend, did my research, ( I research EVERYTHING!) and decided that since it has a less than 1% return rate and a money back guarantee what can I lose!.. So I placed my order. In just a few days I noticed my IBS WAS COMPLETLY GONE!, by week 3- I found my anxiety levels to be down as well, therefore I was able to reduce my ativan meds and cut my welbutrin meds in half!.. I also noticed by week 3 my clothes were looser!! As for my RA I can move more, I am able to go for walks and go up and down the stairs without pain! I am now off my naproxin as it doesn't bother me anymore!.. I am losing weight, I never weigh myself as I find the scale sooo discouraing!! But I count the none scale victories! I am buying new clothes every couple month, my belly rolls are shrinking, and I am getting my curves back. I am starting to feel like me again, not there yet, but hoping to one day be right off all my meds. I believe weight has a lot to do with the health of your body. As I shrink, so will my meds!! I love this product so much.. It saved my life. I ask that you not hesitate the way I did! That was time well wasted!!

Cranberries and Kidney/UTI Infections DID you KNOW?

I love this stuff! Did ya know about this pure stuff?

Cranberries and Kidney/UTI Infections

Must be 100% juice,
NOT "cocktail" which has added sugar.
Works better and faster than any antibiotic I have ever used for a UTI!
Cranberries have a major role in the treatment of kidney/urinary tract infections.
This tiny, red, sour, american fruit, can greatly reduce the use of antibiotics.
Professor Teri Kamesano from the polytechnic institutes in the state of Massachusetts, in the forefront of a scientific research team found that the cranberry changes the composition of the Esherihija Colli bacteria. This bacteria is the most common cause of inflammation of the urinary tract, especially in women. Under the influence of cranberry E. coli bacteria loses its ability to grip with the kidney and urinary tract, thereby reducing its pathogenic properties.

Treatment or preventative use~

Cranberry can be used as a tea, dried snack, but is most often used as a juice.
Acts in small quantities,
so it is enough just one 8 ounce glass of juice (pure 100% cranberry juice) a day
in order to achieve a therapeutic effect.

10 FOODS TO HELP PREVENT CLOGGED ARTERIES

I am going to make sure to include some of these in my daily diet!

Be sure to stay away from eating a lot of processed foods y'all, they are filled with saturated fats, toxins, and chemicals!

Add these to your diet ASAP

• Garlic
Since ancient times garlic has been used to treat heart
disease and hypertension. According to a study published...
in preventive medicine, garlic inhibits coronary artery
calcification which serves as a marker for plaque
formation.
• Grapes
Grapes are rich in flavonoids, quercetin, and resveratrol.
These flavonoids have been found to prevent the oxidation
of bad cholesterol that leads to the formation of plaque in
artery walls. They also lower the risk of developing blood
clots that can lead to heart attacks.
• Spinach
Spinach is rich in potassium and folic acids, both of which
act as a defense against high blood pressure. Spinach is
also rich in lutein, a plant carotenoid which not only
protects against age related macular degeneration but also
prevents heart attacks by keeping arteries free from
cholesterol build up.
• Fish
A study conducted by researchers at Southampton
University found that Omega 3 oils, present in fishes like
tuna and salmon, stop the build up of fatty deposits in the
arteries. These fatty acids prevent clots from forming and
cholesterol from becoming oxidized.
• Olive oil
Only oxidized cholesterol is able to stick to your artery
walls and form plaques. Monounsaturated fats present in
olive oil when mixed with molecules of bad cholesterol
become less likely to be oxidized.
• Tomatoes
According to a study conducted by Korean researchers,
lycopene, a compound present in tomatoes that gives them
their color, helps in prevent hardening of the arteries.
Researchers found that women with the highest lycopene
levels in their blood had the least stiffness in their arteries.
• Pomegranates
Pomegranate juice not only appears to prevent hardening
of the arteries by reducing blood vessel damage, but may
also reverse the progression of this disease. Pomegranate
fruit and its juice are high in antioxidant content, which
may help fight hardening of the arteries.
• Kiwi and Cantaloupe
These antioxidant-rich foods work by reducing toxic LDL
cholesterol, which is formed by a rusting process in your
arteries. They can help stop the rust in its tracks and even
prevent it from spreading. Eat one cup of cantaloupe or
one kiwi per day to unclog your arteries.
• Cranberry juice
This juice strains the fat out of arteries. Instead of having
fat build up in your blood vessels, this juice boosts your
cell’s ability to absorb the fat and use it for production of
energy. Drink three glasses of this juice every week to
unclog your arteries.
• Oats
Thanks to the soluble fiber in oats, cholesterol is up against a fight!
This type of fiber attaches itself to cholesterol and carries it right out of your system. Some studies have shown that eating just 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 cups of cooked oat-bran cereal daily can lower cholesterol levels by almost 20%! Try Cheerios, Total, and Kashi Cereal brands, to name a few.
